Surprise! Foy Vance shocked his AmericanaFest crowd with one of his favorite collaborators.
’s 2019 AmericanaFest set on Friday evening . Midway into his performance, Vance prefaced the upcoming collaboration by singing Urban’s praises.
After screams from the audience and a quick hug, the pair segued into Vance’s stirring ballad “Burden,” featured on the Irish singer-songwriter’s 2016 album. While the Irishman sat down at the keyboard, Urban assisted on electric guitar and vocals beside him. With additional backing harmonies from Vance’s band, the nearly eight-minute collaboration captivated the festival crowd.
