Each of us can help by donating to Ukraine relief and being an advocate for humanitarian aid and peace.
It’s our tradition as a nation. During World War II, as we fought Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, we were also helping war victims.
Relief agencies are hard at work trying to aid Ukraine. They need our steady support both in terms of donations but also writing letters to Congress asking them to continue support for Ukraine. Donations need to increase to match the vast needs. The UN World Food Program gets a large supply of wheat from Ukraine for its relief work in Yemen, Somalia and other countries. This latest flooding has damaged crops in South Ukraine and that is bad for the whole world.Each of us can do something to sustain Ukraine’s families.
