Katy Asian Town kicks of Year of the Rabbit with LunarFest

As the dancers performed, it began to rain. “As you can see, the dragons are already working. They’ve brought us rain, which will bring strong crops,” he said, laughing. Events like LunarFest draw the broader community to Asian Town, she said, but they also bring the businesses closer together, enabling them to support one another.
“I’m from Taiwan, but we also have Malaysian, Japanese, Filipino, Vietnamese -- really everything,” she said.
