It’s a sport that has given birth to many Formula One stars, and now it is quickly gaining momentum on Vancouver Island.The Vancouver Island Karting Association runs events at the Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit outside of Duncan, with drivers of all ages taking part in the action.
“Our member numbers have increased in the last three to four years by ten fold, I think we had 30 members four years ago and we’re close to 200 members today.” “[I] just enjoy the feeling of being out on the track, feeling the adrenaline in my body,” says James.
