Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have been warned not to count the points for the games they have in hand.
As things stand, Amakhosi have 16 matches on board, while leaders Mamelodi Sundowns have played 19 matches. Two of the matches Chiefs have in hand are from the ones they were unable to honour to in December, against Cape Town City and Golden Arrows, after there was a Covid-19 outbreak at the Village.
"It's tricky when you count the points from the games in hand because the competition is high and everyone is doing well, so it won't be easy in the remaining months of the season. But when you check how things were before the break, there was some momentum. It would be good for the to fight for top three, so that they can qualify for one of the CAF tournaments.
