Seventeen's Vernon draws praise from K-Pop lovers by embracing LGBTQ+ community
While some things can be lost in translation, one heartfelt moment was crystal clear during K-Pop band Seventeen's sit-down interview with Build Series Monday.
While also acting as Seventeen's translator, band-member Vernon–born Hansol Vernon Chwe–said he was"so thankful" for the fans' support. "Anyways, Seventeen love the gays and aren't afraid to announce it. Vernon has just said something that LGBT carats will hold close to their hearts for a long time," Twitter user"I like the way Vernon replied to question about LGBTQ+, I love how he said"I hope WE CAN make a better place together for everybody for all equal rights" because they want to take a part in fighting for everyone's rights, not only support it," another fan added.
