South Korean boy band BTS (aka the Bangtan Boys) are among the K-Pop artists going mainstream.

But BTS has joined the ranks of superstars such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Beyonce, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Queen and Ed Sheehan that have sold out the football stadium. — : February 26, 2019 The group, which has collaborated with Fake Love and Nicki Minaj, is having one of its best weeks ever. BTS also sold out their upcoming gig at the Stade de France in Paris on Friday, just days after winning artist of the year as well as song of the year at the 2019 Korean Music Awards.
BTS was part of what Billboard dubbed K-Pop’s breakout year in the U.S. in 2018, as K-Pop artists were named or referred to in 5.3 billion tweets across the globe last year.
