A juvenile and an adult are recovering after they were shot in Richmond Friday night.

RICHMOND — A juvenile and an adult were wounded in a shooting Friday night, police said.The shooting was reported about 7:25 p.m. Friday in the area of Fleming Avenue and Ells Street.

Police said the juvenile was outside when they were shot and the adult was driving a vehicle. After being shot the adult driver collided into the rear of an apartment in the nearby Crescent Park Housing Complex. No other injuries were reported.Police have not yet said if either person shot was the intended target or if the shots were fired from another vehicle or by someone outside.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 510-233-1214 or 510-307-8177 .
