The Bears had been waiting for Justin Fields to produce a big game and when he did, it still wasn’t enough in a 31-28 loss.

No doubt after losing 24 of his 29 career starts, Justin Fields wanted a different ending to a career-best game.

The part Fields didn't enjoy was the interception thrown to Kareem Jackson on a play when Cole Kmet appeared covered well one-on-one. Despite his passer rating of 132.7 on the day, with 28 of 35 completions for 335 yards and four TDs, Fields' pick decided another failed comeback attempt on a late drive.

The other moment he wished he could have back was the lost fumble on a sack by Nik Bonitto. Jonathon Cooper scooped and scored with a 35-yard return in the fourth quarter after the Broncos had made a comeback within 28-21. The tying points on the strip-sack occurred on a bootleg and Fields didn't have much time to react to the rush. The QB is expected to throw it away.

It made for a disheartening end for Fields after he had been so effective with four TD passes in three quarters, two to Kmet and one each to Khalil Herbert and DJ Moore.
