'Who likes acne? It’s the worst.'
On Wednesday, May 13, the couple put out a new episode of their new Facebook Watch series,a real-time and real-world look into their lives as a young couple. This week, the couple share a lil spa day with viewers and Justin’s focus was on his struggle with adult onset acne — one lot of people can relate to.
In the episode, the pair talks about their skincare regimens. Hailey, a self-confessed skincare junkie, admits to having naturally clear for the most part but, Justin, reveals he indulges in a full-blown regimen twice a day to treat his cystic acne, and still seeks better results on the regular. During the episode, Hailey assists in Justin’s aforementioned regimen, applying an exfoliating enzyme cleanser and then a detoxifying facial mask and toner. As she works, they talk and Justin opens up about his struggles with acne. “Who likes acne? It’s the worst. It’s the worst for your self-confidence because, like, especially with all these filters on Instagram, people are looking perfect with their skin and you feel like that’s reality but in reality, a lot of people probably have bad skin.
Justin’s words will certainly echo with a lot of his viewers and this is not the first time that the couple has discussed skin care as of late. Just last week,on occasion, saying, “I'm super into skincare, especially because we've had a lot of time in this quarantine... I told him that by the time we exit this quarantine he is going to have glowing, perfect skin so we are going to work on that.
