Owned by Ira Sandler, 1015 Folsom has been a beacon for San Fran's alternatie underground for more than 3 million customers over the decades. It's played host to '80s goths as Das Klub, '90s house heads at Come-unity, fostered the emergent bass scene of the 2000s, gave EDM a place to boom in the 2010s, provided stages for MCs and old school favorites, and given the LGBTQ a place to gather in peace and play.
