After noticing the sudden disappearance, fans naturally began to speculate the cause on social media, many landing on a potential hack as the most plausible option. However, Jungkook himself quickly stepped in to clear the air, posting a quick explanation to BTS's official Weverse account.
As it turns out, it was Jungkook himself that decided to deactivate his account. The reason? He just wasn't using it that much. "It wasn't hacked," he clarified, "so don't worry!" Not only has Jungkook said bye to the account, but he's also confirmed he's deleted the app entirely from his phone, which honestly, in this day and age, is more than commendable!
Though his Instagram account is caput, JK said he will still be in contact with fans via Weverse Live. Just like Jungkook, life gives and life takes, and we all just need to collectively remember that, most of the time, it is probably not that serious!
