BREAKING: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has won the first stage of his bid to appeal against the decision to extradite him to the United States.
The Wikileaks founder has been in custody since being removed from the Ecuadorean embassy in 2019
Now a court had decided he will be allowed to challenge a decision allowing him to be extradited to the United States to face 18 criminal charges including breaking a spying law. It refused him permission for a direct appeal but the Supreme Court will now need to decide whether or not it should hear his challenge.
