The first official trailer for the Judy Garland biopic has arrived
stars as the late icon, doing a bang-up impression of the legendary performer in her later years. Though the first teaser had a wistful edge—set to Zellweger singing a sad, breathy version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”—the full trailer is zingy and comical,follows the singer in 1968 as she heads to London for a sold-out run of shows at a venue called The Talk of the Town.

Last June, Minnelli dashed reports that she had helped Zellweger prepare for the role, releasing a statement on Facebook that said she has never met the actress, norof the biopic. “I have never met nor spoken to Renee Zellweger,” the Oscar winner wrote.
