Judge Judy quits daytime TV with 25 years of reruns and $440 million:
as one of daytime’s highest-rated shows.in reference to her sky-high salary.
She didn’t only get cash. In 2015, she negotiated with CBS—the network owned her production company—for ownership of her library in exchange for more episodes. But she only held on to the episodes for two years. Sheindlin’s net worth skyrocketed in 2017 after she agreed to sell the rights to her 5,200-episode library, as well as future episodes of the show, for $100 million—back to CBS.
