The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that it responded to a shooting Saturday morning at 3800 W. Moncrief Rd.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that it responded to a shooting Saturday morning at 3800 Moncrief Rd. W.At approximately 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area and located a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. Officers gave the man medical attention until Jacksonville Fire and Rescue arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital.
JSO says detectives are actively working on the case, but no suspects have been identified and no witnesses have come forward. JSO also says that although the incident took place near Raines High School, current evidence suggests the incident was isolated and not related to the school.
