Joy Reid says Trump uses ‘Jesus language’ as if his ‘body is being broken’ for GOP READ:
“He was at the Faith and Freedom conference over the weekend, getting cheered and lauded and saying, 'I was indicted for you,'” Reid said on her MSNBC show The ReidOut. “Now, the ‘you’ in question did not steal classified documents or foment an insurrection. He did. That is like Jesus language. As if my body is being broken for you. He speaks like that.”“And let’s be clear,” she continued. “His base are white evangelicals. They lap that up.
“It is a complete corruption of the American experiment,” Stevens said. “And if they’re successful, it will be the end of the American experiment.”
