Mason Krahn's game-winning single helps the Jaguars outlast the Rattlers and remain perfect in district play.

Johnson celebrates beating Reagan in thirteen inning on Thursday at Northeast Sports Park. With the win, the Jaguars remained perfect at 5-0 in district play. The fans who made their way to Northeast ISD's Baseball Stadium got nearly double what they paid for in the game between Reagan and Johnson. Seven innings weren’t enough.

“It was a good game between two good teams,” Johnson head coach Gordon Gesell said. “Both teams competed well. We’re just fortunate to get the win.” Both starters went 8 2/3 innings, giving up six hits and a run apiece. The Jaguars were unable to string hits together in the early innings. Coleman was able to limit the Jaguar hitters for most of the night.

The Rattlers were able to load the bases with one out in the top of the third inning but came away empty when Caden Crofts grounded into a 3-1-3 double play that also forced Caden Roy out at home plate.
