If you needed proof that Mark Zuckerberg is a juvenile twerp enriched by forces he does not understand I guess you’re not big on Facebook. But he just called for world government to censor him. And us. Get back.

It’s not “censorship” when social media use algorithms to discourage or “silence” certain views. It may be patronizing, hard to enforce and likely to drive creeps to other creepier platforms. But there’s nothing scary about Facebook’s effort to redirect people who search for white supremacist terms to a page “Life After Hate.”

Facebook can have any policies it likes about content or data, within existing law, and we can stay or flee accordingly. Caveat emptor sure beats cave Caesarem.
