In case the apparent paradox of post-modern tribalism is actually inherent in abandoning the search for truth, let me propose a solution from Jordan Peterson. Before rebutting someone’s opinion, paraphrase it in a way that isn’t savage parody. It won’t make real differences evaporate. But it will make them a lot less divisive.
