Those kinds of numbers are said to have given officials enough confidence to recommend to ministers that the Ceridian system be phased in across the federal government over a number of years. Those recommendations will be made formally this fall, sources said. The government is cautious, as well it might be, having essentially ignored warnings that the Harper-government initiated Phoenix system was not ready to be rolled out in April 2016.Article content
Pay file data need to be cleaned up before being transferred to another system but, unlike Phoenix, which went live across all departments on one weekend, the Ceridian solution could be phased in over a couple of years, starting with departments that have already proven themselves ready to implement it.Article content
