Speaking to Total Film, , Carpenter and Gordon chime in on the upcoming remake of Christine. When asked about the remake, Carpenter first responded, “Oh boy,” before graciously chiming in that the Christine remake “will probably be better.” Gordon added that “Christine could be told in a different way” this time around, and had no worries about the film being remade in the modern era. "I think he’s really talented, and a good person to do it.
Fuller has only made teases about his Christine adaptation, saying for example that his “version of Christine will be horny as hell.” With so little information on specifics of this script, the possibilities remain excitingly endless. Christine is yet to have a release date confirmed, but hopefully, its eventual production will impress Carpenter and Gordon.
