Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid reacted to James Harden's LA Clippers press conference comments
During his introductory press conference as a member of the LA Clippers, James Harden spoke about being"on a leash" with the Philadelphia 76ers, a comment he clarified by saying,"I think the game and I'm a creator on the court... somebody that trusts me, that believes in me, that understands me, that I'm not a system player. I am a system."
Harden was referring to the way he was utilized in Philadelphia under Doc Rivers, which his former teammate Joel Embiid was asked about on Thursday night. "In my opinion, we gave him the ball every single possession, because he's really good," Embiid said."He's an amazing player. Obviously, being that great of a passer, I think we gave him the ball... we'd give him the ball every single possession to just go out and, you know, do his thing. And from there he had to make decisions as far as getting guys open or looking out for himself.
