Senator Kamala Harris of California also polled ahead of the president by one point, at 45 to 44 percent. But that lead falls within the poll's margin of error.
A new poll suggested that 2020 Democratic presidential candidates Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren would all beat President Donald Trump in a head-to-head competition by significant margins.showing him beating out Trump by a margin of 51 to 42 percent, a lead of nine points. Sanders, an independent senator from Vermont, had the second largest win gap in the poll, beating Trump by seven points, 50 to 43 percent.
