Jimmy Harnen promoted to Big Machine Label Group Records president & CEO

Harnen was previously the head of Republic Nashville and before that was senior vp promotion for Capitol Nashville. He is regularly featured onand last year signed seven-time Grammy winners Lady Antebellum -- an act he helped break at Capitol in 2007 -- and discovered Riley Green, who peaked at No. 3 on Country Airplay with first single "There Was This Girl," and Brett Young, who notched his fourth Country Airplay No. 1 with "Here Tonight.
