Jimmie Allen and NoahCyrus reminisce of a former romance in the new video for ThisIsUs
for his new single “This Is Us,” and the video has the pair knee deep in water as they reminisce of a former romance.
Directed by Dustin Haney, “This Is Us” features Allen wading through a pool of water as he admits having been previously known “for the dumb things” before he met Cyrus. His duet partner chimes in on the chorus as she harmonizes about how they found themselves once finding each other. Covered in water herself, Cyrus’ harmonies blend impeccably with Allen’s.
“This Is Us” follows Allen’s second career No. 1 single with “Make Me Want To,” which recently peaked at No. 1 on’s Country Airplay chart. “This Is Us” was co-written by Cyrus, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, Jordan Schmidt, Ilsey Juber and Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II.
