The win at Scotiabank Arena on Monday avenged a 6-4 loss to Toronto on October 28th, which ended the Jets' eight-game winning streak. Mark Scheifele led the Jets with a three-goal, four-point performance.
The Jets (25-10-1) now sit one point ahead of last year's 36-game pace of 23-9-4. Kyle Connor scored the Jets' first two goals and assisted on Scheifele's first goal. Scheifele, who had additional motivation after being omitted from Canada's roster for the 4 Nations Face-Off, has eight goals and 15 points in the 10 games since the roster announcement.
