Stanley’s contract will carry an AAV of $1.25 million through the 2025-26 season. This is another small pay bump for the 26-year-old, who was making $1 million on a one-year deal last season.
Stanley has been with the Jets, the team that selected him 18th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft, since 2018. After a couple of seasons with their American Hockey League affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, he has been up with the big clubs consistently over the past four seasons. In 139 NHL games, the former Kitchener Rangers captain has scored four goals and 18 assists with a +17 rating. Stanley has also registered four points and a +4 in 12 playoff games.
