Jimmy Johnson and Jerry Jones engaged in a lengthy talk at SoFi Stadium Monday night, and one of the topics was indeed the former coach's delayed induction into the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor.

Jones was seen on the field at SoFi Stadium engaged in a long talk with none other than Jimmy Johnson.
Yes, his long-time friend from the University of Arkansas and former coach that built the foundation for three Cowboys Super Bowl wins in the 1990s. But these days, Johnson is the Cowboys legend being denied -Jimmy and Jerry Chat: Necessary Ring of Honor or friendly needling? Jones caused controversy last August when he announced that all-time sacks leader DeMarcus Ware would be inducted ahead of Johnson, whom Jones promised to enshrine in 2021.."We also, as people who have known each other a long time, we got a lot to needle each other about. And it’s fun.”
Jones and Johnson always caus a stir when seen talking, even though they have been friends for 55 years. "Let me be real candid: Jimmy and I have never had issues with being around each other and being able to communicate in a positive way," Jones said."So that shouldn't surprise anybody. He's very familiar with my family and we've spent a lot of time together. I have a lot of respect for him as a great coach, and I'm so proud of what he's brought to this game.
