As the calendar flipped to April 6 and marked Paul’s 55th birthday, the Internet collectively shrugged and then smiled because, let’s face it, the actor defies the very concept of aging. Thecontinues to stun with his remarkably youthful appearance, and fans across the globe flooded social media with tributes that were part homage, part disbelief over his looks.
Among those who took a moment to wish the actor was his Friends co-star, Jennifer Aniston, who playfully called Paul an “ageless freak.”wrote in an Instagram story while sharing a hilarious clip from the movie Wanderlust, which she starred in with Paul.“Then weights. Then cardio,” he went on to say. “People ask me, ‘Can you send me your meal plan? How many times a week do you work out? Do you drink? Do you eat carbs? Do you have a cheat day?’ The most important part of training is sleep.
“I get up and I have a cup of coffee, and then I do cardio before I eat anything. I never would’ve done that before . I lift weights, hopefully at least three times a week,” he told the outlet. “And I’ve learned so much about how my body reacts to foods, how it reacts to exercise, and where I’m happiest and how much it affects me mentally … If I’m in this suit, running around playing a character who’s supposed to be a superhero, I just feel better. And I feel less like an impostor.
Outside of work, you can find me sweating it out in dance classes or unleashing my creativity by drawing and creating digital paintings of different characters that lives in my head.
