The anonymous source says Aniston’s friends are concerned about the situation given that Pitt had left her for Angelina Jolie, but thestar “has assured everyone that Brad’s a different guy now.” The actress is also supposedly telling her pals that Pitt “turned his life around and seems to be the man she first fell in love with all those years ago.”
From there, the unknown tipster says Pitt recently “sat her down and confessed that he regrets how everything ended between them,” and promised never to hurt her again “if she gave him another chance.” The seemingly phony source adds, “She cried. For the first time in years, she was looking at the Brad she remembered, not the one Angelina seems to parade around like a trophy. They haven’t been apart since.
Not a single aspect of the tabloid’s story is accurate. Separate spokespeople for both Pitt and Aniston have stressed countless time that they’re not back together. Reps for both stars are once again going on the record to refute this latest take on the subject. There’s also no indication they’ve seen each other in person since Pitt attended his ex-wife’s 50th birthday party in February.
