The suicide of Jeffrey Epstein has denied the women who accused him of sexual assault the chance to see him face justice. On Tuesday, a judge gave them room to speak out.
Jeffrey Epstein's accusers finally had their day in court Tuesday, but not in the way they had hoped for.
The multimillionaire's death denied women who accused him of sexual assault the chance to see him face justice. It also effectively ended his prosecution on federal sex trafficking charges. Parties to the case appeared in court Tuesday for a hearing on the prosecution's motion to dismiss the charges against him. But Judge Richard Berman turned what could have been a perfunctory hearing into a venue for the women to share what was on their minds.
