Jeanne Clarke Award nominations sought for those showcasing local history

Nominations for the 2024 Jeanne Clarke Local History Awards are being sought by the Prince George Public Library.

There are two categories, the Publication Award, with a nomination deadline of Tuesday, Nov. 14 and the Service Award, with a nomination deadline of Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024.

Although the primary goal is to recognize the history of Prince George and the surrounding area, local history is broadly defined to include Northern B.C. in its entirety so historical work with a regional focus is eligible for recognition, as well.
