Preliminary results from Elections Canada show Jansen sweeping the contest with a whopping 66.3 per cent of the vote—although only an estimated 16 per cent of voters turned out to cast their ballots. Jansen beat Liberal candidate Madison Fleischer by a margin of 50.3 percentage points.
