Another frequent member of Superman's supporting cast, Perry White, has been cast in James Gunn's upcoming DC Studios movie.

Some of the other roles that Pierce is best known for include Detective Bunk Moreland in The Wire, James Greer in the Prime Video series Jack Ryan, Robert Zane in Suits, Ben Thomas in 1992’s Malcolm X, and Hosea Williams in 2014’s Selma. “Superman tells the story of Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing as Clark Kent of Smallville, Kansas,” reads’s official synopsis. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way, guided by human kindness in a world that sees kindness as old-fashioned.”.
