DC Studios CEO James Gunn has officially opened up about his involvement in Max's upcoming Creature Commandos series.
series, which is expected to premiere on Thursday, December 5, 2024. This marks Gunn’s first TV show as part of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters for his new DC Universe timeline.
“The series tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails… they’re your last, worst option,” reads the show’s official logline.account, Gunn confirmed that he didn’t direct any episodes of the upcoming adult-animated series. However, he did supervise the voice recordings of the main cast.
“I’m also not director on Creature Commandos for the record,” Gunn wrote. “I only directed the primary actors voice recordings and oversaw the proceedings. Another group of talented folks directed the episodes, and Dean Lorey led the charge.”features the voices of Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Indira Varma as Bride of Frankenstein, David Harbour as Eric Frankenstein, Maria Bakalova as Princess Ilana Rostovic, Alan Tudyk as Doctor Phosphorus, Zoë Chao as Nina Mazursky, Sean Gunn as G.I.
