James Gunn Announces Engagement to Peacemaker Star Jennifer Holland

Marvel and DC director James Gunn announces his engagement to his longtime girlfriend and Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland.

James Gunn has announced that he is engaged to longtime partner and Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland. Gunn is an American filmmaker, director, and screenwriter who is best known for directing Marvel's Guardians of The Galaxy and its sequel. While he came to prominence through Marvel, he has been making big waves in the DC universe lately. In August of 2021, Gunn's version of The Suicide Squad was released and received much more positive reception than the 2016 Suicide Squad.

The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker haven't just propelled him into the DC universe, but have also given him a chance to work closely with his partner, Holland. The two have been dating since 2015, and Gunn tapped her to star in The Suicide Squad as Emilia Harcourt. Harcourt is an NSA agent who works closely with Amanda Waller and is tasked with monitoring Task Force X. Holland reprises her role as Harcourt in Peacemaker where she is assigned to the A.R.G.U.S.
