The host of ‘The Late Late Show’—and this year’s Tonys—turned his obscurity in the U.S. to his advantage.“I don’t think award shows should be hosted by the same people all the time,” says James Corden as he prepares to host the Tony Awards for his second time.
Mr. Corden, the host of “The Late Late Show” on CBS, won plaudits for his first tour of duty emceeing the big Broadway awards in 2016, but he took a break before agreeing to an encore this year.
