i am not sure about having former idol being producers, i mean a lot of such examples dun work out..

like Rain also become a producer, but his groups are like not so successful, though Shinhwa's Andy started TOP Entertainment and did have success with TEEN TOP, and HOT's Tony An started TN Entertainment and did debut SMASH but disbanded later, Shinhwa's Eric and Min woo also started Top Class Entertainment and produced Stellar.

Former DIA member, Cho Yihyun is also now CEO of M25, and is handling the new idol group, CLASSy debut from My Teenager Girl also. so it seems quite a lot of 1st generation idols have tried using their money and experience to create entertainment agencies and debut idol groups, but many have not been successful.
