The Browns are looking forward to getting Deshaun Watson back.

BEREA, Ohio -- Jadeveon Clowney re-signed with Cleveland for the express purpose of playing with his former Texans teammate Deshaun Watson, and can’t wait for him to return to the practice field next week.

They’re 3-5 coming off their big 32-13 victory over the Bengals and their bye week as they head to Miami for a big AFC showdown against the 6-3 Dolphins, who have won three straight. If the Browns can beat high-flying Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and their second-ranked passing offense, they’ll remain in the playoff conversation.

Watson, suspended 11 games under the NFL’s personal conduct policy, can return to practice Monday with the first full session taking place on Wednesday. He can be fully reinstated Nov. 28, the Monday before the Texans game. “We’ve got to win regardless if he comes back or not,” Myles Garrett said Friday. “Anything can happen, praying to God that he’s healthy and everything goes right when he comes back, but I don’t plan on handing it to anyone. He’s coming back to us so we’re all going to do our part and he’s going to come in and do an exceptional job, and we fully believe that. But we’ve got to win for the sake of winning, wanting to be great and do great for the sake of this city. Not just for him coming back.
