The black-and-white footage is interspersed with “IRL” clips of the models in their homes eating popcorn, watching movies, and hanging out wearing their Calvin Klein undies, as you do. “Remove the filter and see what happens IRL,” says the brand.
The still images are similar to the video in that they show the models shot in black and white, then in more personal, relaxed environments. Bella poses in the studio and then in front of a mirror, while Jacob is seen stripping down to his CK shorts in a locker room. Diplo poses upside down in some comfy Calvin Klein sweats, and football star Odell Beckham, Jr. takes a mirror selfie. The campaign is all about feeling comfortable in your own skin — and in your favorite underwear, obviously.
While Bella has posed for Calvin before, this is Naomi’s first campaign for the brand. It’s a pretty major achievement for Jacob, who is hot off the success ofThe “#MyCalvins IRL” campaign also features more diversity than we’ve seen from Calvin Klein in the past; for example,who is plus-size, is shown lounging in a black lace bra.
