Justin Spears When Xzavie Jackson heard his phone ring, he picked it up and saw Indoor Football League commissioner Todd Tryon's name on the screen. Uh-oh.
"It was surreal," Jackson said on ESPN Tucson ahead of the Sugar Skulls' game against the Vegas Knight Hawks Saturday night at Tucson Arena."Todd called me, and I was like, 'What is he calling me for, you know? Like, am I in trouble or something? Do something wrong?' "I had been thinking about it for the last couple years. Someone told me to just let it go and just pray on it and it'll come to fruition," he said.
"Hall of Fame is one of the those things that can't be taken away," he said."It's not like my sack record or anything that is meant to be broken. Once you're in the Hall, you can't lose that ever."
