Strongsville Community Theatre presents “A Tribute to Richard Rodgers and Friends” Sept. 8 and 9.

The SCT Singers will once again delight audiences with musical theater favorites in “A Tribute to Richard Rodgers and Friends.” They are shown here in 2022. STRONGSVILLE, Ohio -- Attention musical theater lovers: Strongsville Community Theatre is presenting its third “Tribute” show Sept. 8 and 9.

This annual fundraiser supports the SCT Jean Thom Scholarship Fund that benefits graduating Strongsville High School seniors. The two-act show will feature musical theater favorites including “It’s a Grand Night for Singing,” “Isn’t it Romantic,” “This Nearly was Mine,” “I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy,” If I Loved You” and a Rodgers and Hammerstein medley, to name just a few.

Char Morar, Debra Rose, Cindy Smith, Ray Ewers, Carl Fernstrum and Craig Hardy will again delight audiences with their singing talents and professional stage presence.Jim’s Little Big Band will offer accompaniment. The band consists of Doug Day, Mike Elkins, Dick Ingersoll Sr., George Kiteley, Don Kubec, Ken Mehalko, Gary Twining and Jim Wonnacott.Cost is $40.
