A new study has ranked states from the best to worst for working mom.
that listed the best and worst states for women who work double shifts of motherhood and jobs that have W2s.
To do so, WalletHub researchers first established three key dimensions on which to grade all 50 states plus Washington D.C.: “Child Care;” “Professional Opportunities;” and “Work-Life Balance.” Pennsylvania ranked 27th overall on the list, giving it a “so-so” mark for the environment it provides for working moms. Its best category was “Child Care” — in which it got the 22nd overall spot — and its worst, “Work-Life Balance,” in which it ranked 36th.
