The National Weather Service in Birmingham is forecasting a 40 percent chance of rain after 3 p.m. for the Tuscaloosa area.
Expect rain chances to increase as the afternoon progresses into the evening hours, especially after 6 p.m. The high on Saturday in Tuscaloosa is expected to reach 67 degrees, and that could happen right around kickoff time. Expect temperatures to drop a few degrees through the afternoon and be near 61 degrees by 6 p.m.
It could be breezy, with winds out of the south from 5 to 10 mph and gusts as high as 20 mph, according to the forecast. Rain chances are expected to be near 100 percent later Saturday night. There could be a rumble of thunder or two, but severe weather isn’t expected. Stronger storms could be possible in southwest Alabama later Saturday night, for anyone traveling southward after the game.
