Iran’s proxy terror group admitted carrying out the strike near the U.S. embassy. “The spokesman for the Houthis, Yahya Sare’e, claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement published on the social media platform X. He said it was in retaliation for the Israel-Hamas war and had hit one of the group’s many targets,” AP News
The Israeli military has no doubts about Iran’s direct involvement in the drone strike. “Iran is funding, arming and directing its terror proxies in their attacks on Israel and the wider world. We will not allow Iran and its proxies to terrorize our civilians and we will continue to do everything we can to protect Israel’s people and borders,” IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said Friday.
The attack on Tel Aviv highlight the growing global terrorist threat posed by the Shia-Islamic regime of Iran. Tehran is supplying long-range Samad-3 drones — like the one used by the Houthis in the Friday’s strike — to Mexican drug cartels, and the rouge Marxist regime of Venezuela, Israeli sources say.
