Investigators with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department have widened the search area where they believe a suspect’s car might have traveled after a fatal shooting.
PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. — Investigators with the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department have widened the search area where they believe a suspect’s car might have traveled after aThat shooting occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 22 at an apartment complex in Midland, just off Golden Given Road East.
Gage Hallstead, 27, was fatally shot, and his 23-year-old brother Bailey Hallstead and a cousin were hurt.Now detectives are working to figure out who is responsible for the shooting. They are asking anyone who lives in the area –– from McKinley Avenue east to L Street, and from East 38th Street to East 61st Street –– to check to see if they have any video of a white car, which was followed by a truck between 11 and 11:30 p.m., to give the sheriff’s office a call.
