San Antonio police and FBI are investigating a scene related to the disappearance of Lina Khil on the Northwest Side, sources confirmed to KSAT.
Officer Ricardo Guzman, a public information officer with SAPD, said they received a tip that said there could be evidence related to Khil behind apartment complexes near Interstate 10 and Wurzbach Road. Pamela Allen, a local child advocate and family liaison, told KSAT that officers are searching for a body.
Khil’s father, Riaz, was at the scene along with Allen. Speaking through an interpreter before 1 p.m., he said there was no update. “This tip that we received, we treat serious, just like any other tip. As we have over the last two years, we do our due diligence and follow up on every tip,” Guzman said.
