It isn’t known if the sexual-misconduct investigation will affect Gen. John Hyten’s nomination to be the Pentagon’s next No. 2 officer
WASHINGTON—Air Force officials found no evidence of wrongdoing by Gen. John Hyten, the nominee to be the next vice chairman of the Pentagon’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, after investigating allegations of sexual misconduct levied against him by a female service member, officials said.
A military courts-martial convening authority investigated a series of allegations in recent weeks, but investigators couldn’t find any proof of the woman’s allegations, officials said.
