Four prisoners gained access to a roof
The Northern Ireland Prison Service has confirmed that some prisoners were able to get onto the roof of Maghaberry Prison on Wednesday morning.
Four prisoners in total were able to access the roof, with the circumstances of the incident being reviewed by the Prison Service.Read more: The five men currently unlawfully at large in Northern Ireland "The Prison Service has confirmed that an incident at Maghaberry yesterday, during which four prisoners gained access to a roof in the Mourne complex within the prison, has ended," the spokesperson said."The rest of the prison was unaffected."The four prisoners will be charged under Prison Rules and their actions will be referred to the PSNI for investigation.
